Susan was raised in South Dakota, where she joined the US Army Medic Corps and served for 4 years. When finished with the Army, Susan graduated from the University of Louisville, Kentucky in 1984 with a ADN degree. From there she worked in   Tertiary Center, Louisville Kentucky for 14 years. Susan then proceeded to receive her BSN from the University of Brownsville in 2000 and MSN from Texas Tech University and University of Texas, El Paso in 2002. In 2002 Susan was certified by the American College of Nurses Midwifes. She has worked in women’s health since 1984 specializing in Obstetrics, adolescent health, family planning and colposcopy.

                Susan’s’ greatest accomplishments are her 4 children.
